The Seawolves defeated the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks, 71-53, on Feb. 7. The Seawolves took an early lead in the first half and held it throughout the rest of the game. Sylas Williams led the way, scoring 16 points for the Seawolves, with Bishop Tosi contributing 14 and Hasaan Herrington accounting for 11.
This victory leaves the Seawolves 17-7 in NCAA play and 9-4 in GNAC play. The Seawolves return to the Alaska Airlines Center to face off against Fairbanks on Valentine’s Day as part of the Bounce Back Charity doubleheader with the women’s basketball team. Fans bringing soft items for donation to the charity will receive free entry.
