The Seawolves delivered a victory against the Montana State Billings Yellowjackets on Nov. 20, 3-0. The Seawolves quickly took a commanding lead in the first set. Lee Ivakina’s 12 kills and Emma Beck’s 11, helped and held the lead throughout the first set, ending it 25-13, and setting the tone for the rest of the night.
The Seawolves quickly repeated the performance in the second set, 25-14, and the third set, 25-13. Emma Beck’s 11 kills helped lead the Seawolves to victory in their penultimate regular-season matchup. Tia Allen’s first dig of the night marked her 1,200th career dig, making her only the second player in GNAC history to have at least 1,200 kills, 1,200 digs and 100 aces.
The Seawolves are currently ranked second in Div. II NCAA West Region, 22-5 and 13-4 in GNAC play.
