UCreate Media Camp: Claire Pester

UCreate Media Camp is a summer camp put on by UAA’s department of Journalism and Public Communications in collaboration with Alaska Teen Media Institute. From June 5 to June 9, campers learn about audio, video and image production in addition to story telling and graphic design. The camp is being hosted by the College of Arts and Sciences at UAA.

UAA’s student newspaper, The Northern Light, is assisting in running the camp and hosting projects that campers make. You can see what the campers have come up with here.

Hi, my name Claire. I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. I’m interested in acting and editing. I have a cute chocolate lab named Milo. I have a twin named Owen, my older brother is Korbin; he is 15 years old. I went to a media camp this summer and learned a lot. I learned how to film videos properly. I also learned how to do a “vox pop.” I made a friend at media camp her name is Adelaide, but she goes by Addie. She’s super nice and helpful, (and she totally didn’t write most of this.) I want to be an actor or a foley artist when I grow up! Thank you for listening I hope you have a decent day!
