The Seawolves defeated the Simon Fraser Red Leafs, 83-76 on Feb. 14. Taylor Searcey’s 22 points and Mahaila Harrison’s 21 points helped lead the Seawolves to victory.

The game also featured Tia Allen, one of UAA’s star volleyball players, making her home debut on the basketball court. Allen is the first UAA athlete to compete in two sports since O’Lita McWilliams played volleyball in 2003 and then basketball in the 2003-2004 season.

At halftime, fans were encouraged to throw soft items onto the court for donation in conjunction with JustServe.

This victory leaves the Seawolves 14-9 in normal play and 6-8 in the GNAC, with just four games remaining in regular season play. The Seawolves take to the road for their last two away games before returning to the Alaska Airlines Center on Feb. 26 to take on Western Oregon University.
