Speaker 1: “So, we walked out of there, and I remember you immediately started bawling. You’re like, it hurts.” Speaker 2: “It was deflating.”
Speaker 2: “I don’t think any place that we were ever stationed with the military there was readily available services — we always had to travel — we always had to travel at least 50 to 100 miles, or actually airline travel, to get you the services.”
Speaker 1: “The more challenging times were with the school districts and getting your 504 plan — or your IEP the way it needed to be — and the services and accommodations that you needed. Those were much more challenging than having your device mapped.”
