The UAA Student Support Fund, created several years ago to help students with a financial emergency, is in need of donations. A first-semester student requested money from the fund for airfare to visit family during an emergency medical situation last week. Though funds were pulled together, UAA became aware that the depleted fund is still a need of students. Donations of all sizes are welcome. Donors may drop off cash or checks at the Office of Student Affairs between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays. Call 786-1214 for more information.
