UAA signs L.A. JC forward Nick Pacitti

UAA head coach Rusty Osborne added another versatile front court player as he announced the signing of Nick Pacitti to a National Letter of Intent.

The 6’6″, 225-pound forward comes to UAA after earning All-South Coast Conference first-team honors as a sophomore last season at Los Angeles Trade Tech College, averaging 13.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. Pacitti was an honorable mention all-league pick as a freshman in 2007-08, despite it being just his first season of organized basketball.

Pacitti brings UAA’s recruiting class to seven players, along with freshmen Bryce Arnott (Fr., G, 6-1, 185, Clyde, Australia) and Liam Gibcus (Fr., F/C, 6-9, Lysterfield, Australia), Division I transfer Malcolm Campbell (So., C, 6-9, 255, Los Angeles, Calif./Fairfax HS/Hartford), and fellow JC transfers Donnie Lao (Jr., G, 6-2, 190, Midvale, Utah/Hillcrest HS/Snow Coll.), Ryan Parker (Jr., F, 6-7, 230, Sacramento, Calif./Sierra College) and Drew Robinson (Jr., G., 6-1, 175, Lehi, Utah/Salt Lake CC).
