Sept. 6* – Busted

4:35 p.m. The University Police Department was contacted about skateboarders on the west side of the diplomacy building. Three juveniles were located and informed of the university's anti-skateboarding policies.

 

Sept. 7 – Back it up

5:30 p.m. UPD was contacted about a low boy trailer and tractor blocking half of Scooter Lane. An officer responded and determined that a construction crew was loading heavy equipment on the trailer and would be moving shortly.

 

Sept. 8 – Chronic odor

5:02 a.m. UPD was contacted about the smell of marijuana coming from an apartment in West Hall. Officers responded, but found no evidence of drug activity.

 

Sept. 9 – Just say no!

1:24 a.m. Officers were contacted about possible alcohol consumption in the Main Apartment Complex. They responded and issued a citation to a minor who had been consuming alcohol.

Sept. 10* – No brakes

11:32 a.m. UPD was contacted about a vehicle rolling out of a parking space at the West Hall parking lot. Officers arrived on the scene and put the vehicle in the proper parking spot.

11:48 p.m. UPD was contacted about a student having a seizure. Officers responded but couldn't locate the student.

 

Sept. 11 – I was here first

4:52 p.m. A UAA staff member called UPD to report a disturbance between himself and an Anchorage Daily News employee regarding a parking problem. Officers responded and the incident was resolved.

 

Sept. 12* – For a good time call…

3:24 p.m. A university staff member called UPD to reported finding graffiti in the men's bathroom in the Sally Monserud Building. Custodians were dispatched to the scene and an officer is investigating.

11:11 p.m. An officer was contacted about individuals drinking in MAC. Officers responded and issued a MCA.
