Oct. 26 Book `em Dano
1:08 a.m. University Police Department received a call from a Templewood resident who was allegedly assaulted by a roommate. Officers took the roommate into custody and booked her for assault.
1:33 a.m. A housing student called UPD to advise them he was suffering from a slipped disc and requested transport. The subject's parents were notified and responded for his transport to the hospital.
9:02 p.m. A staff member informed UPD that an unknown male near the coffee area in the Administration Building appeared out of place. Officers responded and determined that the individual was waiting for a bus inside because of the cold weather.
Oct. 27 Hey, where's the party at?
2:03 a.m. Officers observed a party in the main apartment complex that appeared to have minors consuming alcohol. Officers investigated and issued four citations.
1:25 a.m. A housing residence advisor reported a resident had complained about a roommate using marijuana and leaving residue in the room. When officers responded they found trace amounts of marijuana but did not identify a suspect. The RA will handle the matter through housing channels.
5:13 p.m. Officers were requested to respond to the West Hall front desk to deal with a drunken student who was harassing the front desk staff. Officers verified that the subject was of legal age and asked him to return to his room.
7:13 p.m. An individual reported that there was a terrorist threat written on the mirror in the first floor men's restroom of the Business Education Building. Officers are investigating.
12:48 a.m. UPD was contacted about a distraught student in the bathroom at the Allied Health Sciences Building. Officers responded, but the student was en route to the Student Health Center for counseling.
4:44 p.m. While on patrol an officer observed a vehicle power sliding. The driver was issued a citation for the infraction.
5:43 p.m. A housing residence coordinator called UPD and requested officers respond to take custody of drug paraphernalia. An officer destroyed the paraphernalia in front of another officer.
12:30 a.m. Officers received a report of a disturbance between a student and a parking staff member. They contacted the subject and requested that he leave campus and he complied.
4:58 p.m. The Anchorage Police Department called UPD to report a disoriented person walking west bound on Providence Drive. It was determined the subject was not disoriented, just waiting for a bus.
11:08 a.m. UPD received a call that there was a suspicious package in the second floor women's bathroom in the Business Education Building. Officers determined the package was not a problem and disposed of it.
2:10 p.m. A University of Alaska Anchorage staff member requested that UPD take a look at an e-mail from a student. It was determined that no crime had taken place.
