A student called to report that her car was broken into at the University Center. An officer took a report over the phone. The estimated loss is $700.00. Investigation continues

Friendship shaken to core by car theft
06:00 – 09:00 p.m.
The registered owner of a vehicle found that her keys and vehicle were missing from 214 MAC 6. A friend had left the apartment a couple of hours before the keys and vehicle were discovered missing, but he denies taking the vehicle. Investigation continues.

Who thought it was a good idea to drink, drive and get high?
6:17 p.m.
Officers contacted a male slumped over the wheel of his vehicle. The investigation revealed that he was intoxicated. The male was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was additionally charged with misconduct involving a controlled substance in the sixth degree.

West Campus Lot gets hit by car thief
09:00 – 11:30 p.m.
A student called the University Police Department and reported that her vehicle had been broken into while parked in the West Campus Lot. An officer responded to investigate the incident.

Vehicle theft trend moves to housing lots
10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
A female resident of UAA housing called to report a theft case. Vehicle parts from the exterior of her vehicle were taken.
