Illegal turn reveals drunken minor
6:18 a.m. — An officer witnessed a vehicle making an illegal U-turn on Elmore. One of the passengers was discovered to be in violation of Minor Consuming Alcohol, and the driver was issued a DUI and arrested.

Someone doesn’t read TNL articles about theft prevention
12:32 a.m. —- A driver reported a theft from his car – $4,600 worth of items were stolen.

Tuesday, September 30
Unlucky student has to find a new ride
9:07 a.m. — A student’s bicycle was stolen from the back side of East Hall. Approximate value of the bicycle was $800.

Officer finds stolen car
12:41 p.m. — While on patrol, an officer noted a green Jeep Cherokee with a broken window. It turned out it was a stolen vehicle. The estimated damage to the window is $250.

Wednesday, October 1
Another car vandalized
1:16 p.m. — A student reported that her boyfriend’s car’s back window was broken while it was parked in the Willow Lot. Investigation is ongoing.

Bad driving etiquette plagues UAA
12:42 p.m. — A car that attempted to make a U-turn after dropping off a passenger at the bus stop ended up colliding with a south-bound vehicle. No injuries were reported, and all occupants of the cars were wearing their seatbelts. The negligent driver was cited. Both cars had to be towed away from the scene.
