Sept. 20 Ain't nothing going on but a party

1:30 a.m. University Police Department officers were contacted about youths on campus possibly carousing. Upon further investigation, two minor consuming alcohol citations were issued.

 

Sept. 21 Drinking and swordplay

12:40 a.m. UPD was contacted about possible underage drinking in building three of the main apartment complex. Officers responded and doled out two MCA citations.

1:22 p.m. An officer was contacted by a student with a slashed tire in the Birch lot. Damage estimated at $100.

3:07 p.m. A student contacted an officer, reporting that a tire on his vehicle had been slashed in the birch lot, damage is estimated at $230.

4:06 p.m. An officer on patrol noticed a man wielding a samurai sword. When it was determined that he was not a student, he was trespassed from campus.

 

Sept. 22 Chug! Chug!

1:09 a.m. While patrolling housing, an officer noticed two males consuming alcohol in the East Hall visitor lot. They were cited for underage consumption of alcohol.

 

Sept. 23 Dude, it's a cop!

2:24 a.m. An officer on patrol was observing two subjects who dropped a beer can and ran when they spotted him. He pursued them and issued one MCA.

3:37 a.m. An officer on patrol in housing observed two students who appeared to be intoxicated. Both were cited for MCA.

2:15 p.m. A student contacted UPD requesting an officer check on a subject in the Commons area who was moaning and possibly under the influence of alcohol. An officer responded, but found no one in the area.

5:19 p.m. During the power outages a student was stranded in the North Hall elevator. By the time an officer responded the power had returned and the student was all right.

 

Sept. 24 Put it in R for race

8:10 p.m. An officer delivered a speech in the gym at the Sports Center on crime prevention.

12:54 a.m. An officer contacted an erratic driver on Bragaw Street. It was determined that the driver was attempting to operate a manual shift vehicle, but had no prior experience doing so. The vehicle was parked and the driver was transported to residence.
