Bowler, the executive director of Tanaina Child Development Center, turned to USUAA for assistance. USUAA responded by drafting a bill that would create a contingency budget to protect Tanaina from future financial hardships.
Bob Crosby is putting years of experience in mechanical engineering and appropriate technologies to good use. He's going to build a wood-burning stove that helps fight global warming. While his stove will look similar to an old "Yukon" two-barrel stove, appearances are about all that his will have in common with the ancient beasts.
Amid the hustle and bustle during the lunch hour in the Student Union at UAA, there is a man who makes his living serving the student body. On the main floor inside UAA's Subway restaurant, Matthew Kozlowski, the general manager, is busy preparing meals for the eager and hungry UAA community.
