Canada Week focuses on religion The International Studies Department in the College of Arts and Sciences at UAA is sponsoring a week of activities highlighting some aspect of Canada. The theme for this year will focus on religion in Canadian film, television and literature.
Young marine scientists win big at Tsunami Bowl The first- and second-place winners of the Tsunami Bowl each won a one-year scholarship to the University of Alaska Fairbanks or the University of Alaska Southeast. The winning team will also get to compete in the national finals of the National Ocean Sciences Bowl, to be held in Seward in April.
