Relax, 0 clear your mind for victory
In Sweden they're playing Mindball, a game like air hockey, except the ball is controlled with relaxed brain waves. In order to win players must not compete. The trick is to close your mind and clear your head.
Two people play Mindball with electrodes strapped to their foreheads that compete across a four-foot-table. The electrodes transmit alpha and theta brain waves, which are generated during concentration and relaxation. The most relaxed player transmits the signals through biosensors to a computer inside the table causing the rubber-coated steel ball to roll into the opponent's goal, according to www.mindball.se.
After it's release in Sweden during 2003 people have buying the game from Michigan to South Africa. Tables can cost more than $20,000.
