Frustration found at Alaskan gas stations

Please tell me why Alaska is paying the highest price for gasoline at the pumps. Watching the CNN newsbroadcast late Saturday night, it was disclosed that gas prices have dropped significantly in the lower 48 and yet very little change has occurred in Alaska.

Please don’t tell me that the oil buyers are waiting for shipments that were purchased at a lesser cost. That would only be a false justification for the oil companies to continue to rip off Alaskans. When the costs of a barrel of oil continue to break record prices, gas prices followed right along. I need to know why the gas price in Alaska continues to be the highest in the nation especially since the cost of a barrel of oil has dropped by more than $20 and Alaska pays the lowest tax for gas.
