If you haven’t heard, the hockey season is about to begin again. Season tickets went on sale Monday. Sept 21. The action kicks off with an exhibition game in Wasilla against SAIT Polytechnic on Oct. 2 at 7:00 p.m.
The following week marks the beginning of regular season play with the Kendall Hockey Classic at the Sullivan Arena, with games against Michigan and Mercyhurst on Oct. 9 and 10.
Fans can expect a strong Seawolves squad this season.
“We’ve replaced everyone we lost as far as grads from last year. We’ve got some good size and good skaters with increased skill levels this year,” Assistant Coach Campbell Blair said.
“There’s a lot of strong competition in this conference,” Blair said. ”It will be nice to get our feet wet with Mercyhurst.”
Practices have gone well so far and the Seawolves are looking forward to a great season.
There are 17 home games this year and season ticket range from $220 -$300. Individual tickets are $18.50, $15 and $13.25 depending on the seats. You can buy your tickets at the Sullivan Arena Box office, ticketmaster.com, by calling 1800-745-3000 or at any Ticketmaster location such as Fred Meyer.
Tickets to the exhibition game, however, are available at the door or at UAA this week.
