Keep Halloween goodies drug-free yet psychedelic with a colorful array of exotic fruits drenched in warm caramel fondue.
This recipe is practical, leaving lots of time to give a little love, do a little dance and get down all night.
Chop up the fruits. Microwave caramel, half and half, and butter until caramel starts to melt. Remove the mixture from the microwave, and stir in vanilla extract until smooth. Mix in hazelnuts of desired. Transfer smooth mixture to the fondue pot, which should be lit. Skew fruit, drench in caramel and savor.
2 bags of Kraft caramels (22 ounces)
1 cup half and half
1.5 tablespoons butter
1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons finely chopped hazelnuts (optional)
