Catching up with the Seawolf track and field teams

The Seawolves are outpacing everyone’s expectations as they come up on the end of their first season of indoor track and field. The rookies just returned from the GNAC Indoor Championships where the women placed first, and the men took home second.

‘Wolves do well on California trip

The Seawolf men’s and women’s track & field team competed in the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto/San Francisco, Calif. this past weekend. The team left California having produced a total of six NCAA qualifying times.

Track season wraps up record setting season

This past season, the University of Alaska Anchorage had what most people would consider a relatively young track team, retiring only eight athletes from the program. Despite the low number of graduating seniors, the shoes these men and women walk in will be big ones to fill, and finding replacements won't happen overnight, though hopefully will in the future.
