The Seawolf Women’s Basketball team extended its lead in Great Northwest Athletic Conference standings over the Western Washington Vikings with their 72-50 win over WWU on Feb. 9 at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex. This win kept the Vikings from trying to unseat the Seawolves from their No. 1 spot in the GNAC within the next couple of games and all but locked up the regular season GNAC title for the Seawolves.

Meet the Seawolf: Sasha King

Sasha King is the starting point guard for the Seawolf women’s basketball team. Since it’s Women’s History Month, I decided it would be cool to have a one-on-one with her about the season, her future plans, women’s sports and her record-breaking performance against Northwest Nazarene.

Seawolf women dazzle 6th-ranked Falcons

The UAA women’s basketball team knocked off nationally ranked Seattle Pacific University. The Seawolves dominated the Falcons the entire game. They managed to fend off a late SPU comeback eclipsing them 77-65. The Seawolves are undoubtedly off to an industrious start in GNAC conference play.
